Consultation Meetings in Greece

In the framework of the GivEUvoice project, each partner hosted three local consultation meetings in their respective areas. These gatherings brought together local young people, trained youth leaders, youth workers from civil society organizations (CSOs), and representatives from local municipalities to collaboratively identify the specific needs required to foster effective participatory approaches within the Youth European Network.

During the meetings, participants focused on shaping the structure of the network with inclusivity and accessibility at its core. Through open dialogue and shared experiences, they contributed valuable insights to ensure the network reflected the diverse realities and priorities of young people across their communities. The discussions also helped strengthen cooperation between stakeholders at the local level. The outcomes of these consultations laid a solid foundation for the continued development and long-term sustainability of the network.

In Greece, one of the consultation meetings took place in Oraiokastro and was successfully completed with strong participation from local youth and community representatives. The event fostered meaningful dialogue, encouraged active engagement, and reinforced the importance of inclusive youth participation at the local level. Participants expressed their commitment to continuing their involvement in the network’s future activities.
